What is the difference between senior yoga and adaptive yoga?

Senior yoga is a specialized class designed for people over 55.  The class included strengthening, stretching, balance poses and relaxation.  Adaptive yoga is a designed for people with less mobility such as knee or hip problems.  This class is done in a chair with a few standing postures. It is a gentle class and an excellent introduction to yoga.. The adaptive class tailors the yoga poses to the individual's ability.
